What is blueMSG?

  • BlueBubbles is a powerful ecosystem that brings iMessage capabilities to non-Apple devices and platforms. It works by running a server application on a Mac computer that acts as a bridge between Apple's iMessage service and other platforms, allowing you to send and receive iMessages from anywhere. This integration connects BlueBubbles with your CRM, enabling seamless iMessage communication directly from your business workflows.

What is the cost?

  • We charge per message and we have some additional per message fees for transcriptions, video messages, and workflow triggers/actions.

  • The pricing of our billing meters are shown in the app marketplace prior to installing the app. Your rates are set by your CRM administration.

How do I Install/Use This Integration?

  • First, Install this application in the App Marketplace. Search for "blueMSG." We will create a menu link in your CRM with additional details and installation instructions.

What are the features?

  • Bluebubbles offers two options: public API and private API. These are enabled following the instructions in our web or mac application. Below are the features by the API type:

How does this compare to "X" Service?

  • We only charge per inbound/outbound message. We do not have a base subscription for self-hosted users.

  • We offer a 3rd party hosting service if you don't want to run a mac computer 24/7 to relay your messages.

  • Review our current rates in the App Marketplace, or hosting provider site, for messaging and hosting rates.

  • We are a direct integration for BlueBubbles.app - These are the original developers who have created an open source product around iMessage. Every other iMessage relay platform whitelabels their code and we simply integrate with it. This also means you can add additional webhooks for platforms like OpenClaw.

Known Limitations

  • There are two versions: Public API and Private API. If you use the public API then it will have less features. Refer to our application for details and how we support the various features of BlueBubbles.

  • We limit 50 new contacts per day, per device. This is in line with other similar services to reduce anyone using it for spam purposes.

  • Mac OS Tahoe 26.3 and later are known to not support the private API. This will be patched at some point by the maintainers. But you can still use the public API.

Do You Offer Help/Support?

  • We offer Q/A support for those installing the application and requesting hosted servers from us.

  • You must bring your own device. We are an integration service. Our hosting partner can professionally manage a mac server to keep the app running in the cloud, but you still need an iPhone.

  • BlueBubbles advanced features requires additional technical setup for self-hosting. Message us and we will help as much as we can, but our mac application covers nearly all topics.
